Access to the start location is via West Wycombe Hill Road, just west of West Wycombe High Street. The route is clearly marked on OS sheet 175 Reading and Windsor. Competitors are strongly advised to bring a recent OS sheet 175 Reading and Windsor especially since the supper location will also be on this map. Anyone requiring vegetarian food should advise the organiser at time of booking, the exact cost is not yet known but will be no more than £8 per head [depending upon numbers].

Please note that at the present time there are ongoing Police investigations in wooded areas close to High Wycombe. As at 23 September the Police presence is on sheet 175 but should things change there could be transmitter/start changes at short notice. The organiser has been in contact with Thames Valley Police who will be aware of our activities and approximate transmitter locations, please note that it is especially important to observe rights of way and any restricted areas.

Finally, note that West Wycombe Hill is closed between sunset and sunrise. If the automatic gate is working it will not be possible to return to the start after the first transmission.
