Eight teams (yes, eight!) assembled on a fine Friday evening. There was a good signal, as per usual, from Peter Bradley on the Tx. Poor Raymond's receiver failed and he joned up with John. the first car left the start in a cloud of dust; the rest more leisurely. The bearing was approx due west and most teams gathered around Abingdon and, you guessed, water but you would not have guessed the results and by some margin.
