Six teams out this Friday evening. There was a weak signal with skywave. Most teams went off in a westerly direction with several homing into a wood near Clifton Hampden.

I wasn't actually in the wood but in the base of a very wide hedge, which was mostly blackthorn and brambles. Aerial was 100m long (5/8 wave on topband - matched nicely) with the earth running to a handy wire fence. Most people said that the signal peaked up about 20 metres from the station.
Pub was the Barley Mow at Clifton Hampden.
